Purpose-built for mines with an existing high-voltage grid, the SY1650E replaces diesel power with cable-electric drive to remove fuel cost and exhaust. It targets mine operators pursuing lower operating cost and emission reduction on fixed-pit loading faces.
A 630 kW 6 kV AC drive motor produces the torque of a large diesel without a fuel tank, driving a 10 m³ bucket with 616 kN bucket digging force and 590 kN arm digging force. A fully electronically controlled hydraulic system sustains 24/7 multi-shift production.
