The STG230C-8S is powered by a Sany D07S3-245E0 engine rated at 180 kW with 885 N·m peak torque, carries a 4270 mm (14 ft) long, 620 mm high moldboard and weighs 16.8 t. Its rear axle uses a rotary-bearing structure instead of a copper-sleeve design for easier maintenance, higher accuracy and over 10,000 hours of service life, and STG models are offered in Euro II, Euro III, Euro V, China III and Stage II configurations for different markets.
