The 34th bauma, the world's leading trade fair for construction machinery, successfully concluded in Munich, Germany. With the theme "The World of Efficiency, Your Partner to Create the Best", SANY Group, together with Putzmeister, presented a spectacular showcase of innovation and technology in the 5,256 m² booth, attracting widespread attention. On opening day, SANY harvested more than 200 intended customers, securing intended orders of nearly 3 billion yuan.
This year, SANY showcased 35 flagship products, including excavators, telescopic handlers, wheel loaders, cranes, forklifts, and road machinery. Among them, 31 are CE certified, 15 debuted globally, and 11 are electric — highlighting SANY's focus on sustainability and innovation.
Vanguard product lineup with global debuts
SCC2000A-EV: SANY's largest fully electric lattice-boom crawler crane, equipped with a 422 kWh CATL high-capacity battery, offers up to 9 hours of operation. A 234 kW Danfoss motor provides exceptional power for demanding tasks. With a lifting capacity of 200 t, it features an 86 m main boom, a 30 m fixed jib and a 63 m luffing jib, complying with CE certification and European transport regulations.
STR50E: The industry's first 5-ton electric roller, equipped with a 60 kWh battery, delivers more than 7 hours of continuous operation with fast charging in just 60 minutes via shared EV charging stations. Powered by a CATL liquid-cooled thermal management battery system, it operates reliably from -20°C to 50°C, with more than 2,000 tested working hours and over 2,000 charge cycles — equivalent to a 30-year service life.
SY215E: The flagship electric excavator, equipped with a 422 kWh CATL battery and a powerful 150 kW motor, guarantees 6 to 8 hours of continuous operation under European working conditions. With dual CCS2 charging (100% in 1.5 hours) and 360-degree AI cameras for human-zone detection, it improves both safety and efficiency.
STH625E: SANY's first compact telescopic handler designed for Europe, ideal for confined spaces. With a width of 1.85 m and a height of 1.92 m, it combines a compact design with power. A 34 kWh battery enables 8 hours of operation at travel speeds up to 20 km/h.
Digital intelligence takes the stage
SANY's Digital Intelligence exhibition area also drew large crowds, with the MySANY platform and the Mechlink intelligent excavating system generating enormous interest and numerous inquiries. Developed by Yaowu Technology and the Large Excavator R&D Institute of SANY Heavy Machinery, the Mechlink system is designed for large excavators in demanding and hazardous scenarios. With ultra-low-latency 5G, it enables one-click L2 intelligent excavating, ensuring safety, efficiency, and advanced intelligence.
Another highlight was a live demonstration of remote-controlled excavators from Munich, Germany, to Huzhou, China — a distance of more than 8,500 kilometers — which attracted over 200 participants and was met with great enthusiasm.
SANY's European journey began in 2009 with the establishment of its Bedburg base in Germany. Today, SANY has built a complete ecosystem across Europe covering R&D, manufacturing, marketing and after-sales service, with 150 dealers, 120 sales experts, 70 service vehicles, and spare parts inventory valued at 20 million euros — consistently exceeding customer expectations and meeting market demands with clean, green, and sustainable products.
For European contractors, bauma remains the annual meeting point where emission limits, electrification and digital jobsite tools are decided. The Munich stand's emphasis on CE-certified, battery-powered machines reflects how regulation and customer demand across Europe are converging on zero-emission construction equipment.
