One Brand, Thirteen Cranes: Lifting the Angren-Pap Railway
Thirteen cranes - one 180 t crawler and twelve 50 t truck units - lifting on the $1.9 bn Angren-Pap electrified railway.
Connecting The Valley With Heavy Lifting
Valued at $1.9 bn, the Angren-Pap line is a strategic electrified railway joining two Uzbek regions across demanding upland terrain. Its tunnels, bridges and engineered structures called for a sizeable, tightly coordinated crane fleet.
Rather than pooling cranes from several vendors, the contractors standardised entirely on one brand. A single crane brand means one parts list, one maintenance routine and one training syllabus across the site - advantages that compound on multi-year infrastructure builds.
The mix paired one heavy crawler unit for the critical mega-lifts with a team of 50 t truck cranes for day-to-day hoisting and assembly, giving the project a single source for every lifting task on the line.
